Digital Valuation (also called as OSM – On Screen Marking) has been in vogue for several years in the world of answer valuation. .

  • Subjective Answer Booklets are received after examination, scanned either by cutting the stitching area or without cutting to get the images of the answer booklet written by the candidate. Then these booklet images are securely uploaded to evaluators systems (which could be in local network or in different centres) to evaluate the booklet on his computer screen and assign marks.
  • Digitizing the booklets is the pre-evaluation phase and evaluating the booklet on screen using OSM software is as part of evaluation phase. As and when the valuation is completed, the subject-wise marks and reports are exported to University result processing system.
